A sala 2 casa da música estava a um terço da sua capacidade à espera dos protagonistas da noite. Entretanto chegaram os portuenses Sizo numa meia horita rápida de coisa nenhuma. Pouco interessante e com um fraquíssimo cantor a liderar a banda (super colado aos strokes!) rapidamente foram arrancados do palco (mesmo depois de a "cover" dos "devo" os ter redimido um bocadinho). Arracaram finalmente o "terceiro molar" do palco e seguimos com a festa.

Chegados os artistas (sim os verdadeiros) o entusiasmo foi crescente. A entrada com “getting bored by the sea” trouxe a acalmia necessária ao pouco público para estabelecer contacto com a Laura Mary Carter. Passamos ao “it’s happening again” e o público rendeu-se ao poder do baterista Steven e à força empregue nas baquetas. Energia crescente e sustentada...

(what should i do, what should i do / when i'm the one who can't get through?)

Passamos uns bons quarenta e cinco minutos de frenesim sexual e de sonoro poder magnético até à chegada do final do set com a excelente “heartsink”. Entramos rapidamente na loucura momentânea da guitarra e da bateria ritmada e eloquente. Fabulosos os quinze minutos finais do dito “encore” terminando na magnífica “colours fade” Deixo-vos a saudade de quem tem que voltar a ver Blood Red Shoes novamente e rapidamente. Excelentes sessenta minutos de prazer.

Nota final para o meu amigo José Miguel que me proporcionou a possibilidade de fornecer um belo dedo do meio em riste para os senhores da cp que fizeram greve deixando-me inevitavelmente apeado. Obrigado.

Também um grande abraço para as duas pessoas que tiveram a bondade de me oferecerem o "box of secrets" em 2008 e o "fire like this" em 2010. Phi e Bruno respectivamente. Obrigado.
